The Scrambled States of America
The Scrambled States of America is a book by Laurie Keller. It is a book about talking states.
One day, on a regular old morning, every state was having their first cups of coffee and reading the morning newspaper.
Everyone but Kansas was happy. He was not feeling happy at all. The reason why he isn't happy is that he is just bored. He just sits there everyday and doesn't do anything.
Suddenly, he came up with a great idea. He said to have a party and invite all the other states.
So Kansas and Nebraska's neighbors, Missouri and Iowa, helped set up the party. They sent out invitations. They blew up balloons and hired a band.
Finally, the party was on. Iowa was in charge of the coats. Illinois and Missouri passed out name tags for each state to wear. The foods that they brought are California Fruit Salad, Iowa Corn, Louisiana yams, Boston Baked Beans, Idaho Potatoes, Minnesota Peas, Georgia Peach Pie and New York Cheesecake.
Then Virginia and Idaho suggested that if states want to switch places and go to a different part of the United States, they can!
So after that everyone ran straight home to pack. The United States then became mixed up. Kansas switched places with Hawaii. Wyoming switched places with Alaska. Florida switched places with Minnesota.
After a couple of days the excitement had died down. Florida was really cold. Minnesota got a painful sunburn. Alabama and New York and Indiana, who took California's place, were bothered by an annoying rumbling earthquake sound that kept them up all night.
California was bothered by cheese. Arizona, who had traded places with South Carolina, was upset because the ocean waves kept ruining her hairdo.
The worst thing was that Kansas switched places with Hawaii. He was stuck in the middle of the ocean and he felt lonesome and seasick. He wrote a song about his guitar being so soggy and he felt so blue.
So everyone packed up again and went home. Illinois needed one airline ticket to Illinois. Colorado walked on mountains home. Florida and Louisiana went in a car. And Illinois went by plane. California also went by plane. Indiana went on a skateboard. New York took a taxi. And North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio went on a bus. Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Maine went by car. Montana and Oregon went on a motorcycle. South Dakota went by bike.
In the evening, everyone was back where they were supposed to be. Everyone from A to W was talking about the new experiences and brought some things from where they visited. California brought Nevada some cheese. Idaho brought Oregon and Washington some corn from Iowa (it's a little soggy). Georgia won a ten-dollar bill for Florida in Las Vegas. New York and Michigan were laughing about a shirt that says "My friend traded places with California and all I got was this stupid t-shirt". Maine brought some peaches from Georgia to Vermont and New Hampshire.
I liked this book because of the names of the foods, such as Georgia Peach Pie and Louisiana Yams. It was weird that they switched places. In a few of the places there was a penny that said things like "oh dear" and "I knew this was a bad idea". Plus, there is a disc in the back. That is all I have to say.

Delicious Smoothies and Drinks
You must have started reading this blog because you want to learn how to make smoothies or drinks.
I know about them because I read a book called "Slurpable Smoothies and Drinks" by Kari Cornell with photographs by Brie Cohen.
I have been dying to make the Purple Cow shake. For this shake, you will need two cups of vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup grape juice and 1/4 milk. The equipment you will need is one ice cream scoop, a liquid measuring cup, a blender, four juice glasses and four straws.
First, you need to put ice cream in the liquid measuring cup. Then pour the ice cream from the liquid measuring cup to the blender. After that, add grape juice and put milk into the blender.
Put the lid on the blender and keep it there until it is smooth and creamy.
Final step: Pour the cream from the blender to four glasses. Put the straws in all of them and serve.

If ants ruled the world, what would things look like?
If ants ruled the world, I wouldn't like it because it would make a mess. The ants would get in my food, on my hair, in my clothes and in the way of my Xbox.
They would block the windows of cars. They would eat the leaves on our trees. They would eat all the plants in people's gardens.
What we would do to stop the ants from ruling the world.
I would get some bottles and fill them with water, soap and alcohol and use that spray to hit the ants. Then I'd get some paper towels and wipe where I sprayed. Or I would put cinnamon near them. Cinnamon makes the ants move in a different direction. I would ask other people to help. If I was going to get ants off electronics without spraying them, I would use cinnamon to move them off the electronics then spray them and wipe.

My Favorite Games
My favorite games are Minecraft, Trials Evolution, Highway Rider and Tower Madness. There are two XBox games and two Ipad games. The two Xbox games are Trials Evolution and Minecraft and the two Ipad games are Highway Rider and Tower Madness.
Minecraft is a popular game. So many people play it. It is about mining blocks and making shelter to survive the night. You can choose two different modes: Survival or Creative. Creative is a mode where you get blocks for free. In Survival, you need to get the blocks. You can also craft blocks with other blocks. You can also go in to a different dimension: The Nether and End. To make the Nether Portal you will need obsidian. The only way to get obsidian is to place water and lava next to each other. Sometimes you will just get cobblestone.
You can only mine obsidian with a diamond pick axe. After you get that you will need flint and steel in the middle of the portal. Flint and steel is a fire source. There also is another way. You can use another fire source called Fire Charge. To get in the nether, you need to stand inside the portal for a few seconds and then go outside of the portal. Then you are in the nether. The nether is a hot place.
The Nether is the middle of the earth. In it, you will find fire and lava and a ton of Nether Rack. You will also find a plant called Nether Wart. It can only be planted on Soul Sand. You will also find Gasts. They are enemies that shoot fireballs at you. You can block those fireballs back at the Gasts. You will also find Magmacubes. When you kill them, they split in to more Magmacubes. If you kill them again, they split in to more Magmacubes. If you kill them one more time, they won't split anymore. They drop Magma Cream and Gasts drop Gast Tears. Magmacubes are bouncing enemies. You will also find Zombie Pig Men. They don't attack you unless you attack them. If you hit one, a lot of them will attack you at the same time.
Another enemy is really annoying. It is called a blaze. It shoots fireballs at you. If you handle killing them you will get a blaze rod. By the way, Zombie Pig Men drop gold nuggets.
There is one more enemy in the Nether. It is so rare. It is called a Wither skeleton. That is about all there is in the Nether. If you go down in the real world that far, you reach bedrock. Bedrock may not be mined in Survival.
To get into the end, you need to find end portals and strongholds. You need to place Eye of Enders inside each end portal frame. Then jump into the end. After you enter the end don't dig down. There are a lot of enderman. Plus there is a boss called the enderdragon. And there are endercrystals healing the enderdragon. Destroy all those endercrystals.
Then start hitting the enderdragon. After you kill it you find XP all over the floor. XP is something you collect to enchant your weapons. There are many other ways to get XP. After you kill the Enderdragon you can go home.
That is about everything I have to say about Minecraft. There are many other things to do in Minecraft.
Next up, is Highway Rider.
Highway Rider is a game where you drive a guy on the highway. You need to drive close to vehicles to get a close call. You want to get as many close calls as you can. The goal of the game is to get the guy so many broken bones. The toughest bone to break is the neck. My strategy to get it is to bang in to a car and his neck is hanging down and it is unreal. Never try to do it in real life. You can also somehow do a multiplayer. I've never played it before. You can also change what your rider is wearing or you can change the motorcycle.
That's about all there is about Highway Rider.
Next up is Trials Evolution.
Trials Evolution is a biking game. You can do tracks to unlock more tracks. You can do license tests to unlock new bikes. You can also paint your bikes. There are five bikes: Rattler, Piranah, Scorpion, Phoenix Evo, and the Micro Donkey Bike. I have never unlocked the Micro Donkey Bike. There is a really long track that I've only completed once with a Bronze Medal. It is called Gridge Track. There are four medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold and a special medal called Platinum. There are four license tests: D License, C License, B License and A License.
The thing I like about the game is that there are skill games that include more than just biking. My favorite one is called Mr. Vertigo. You swing on as many trapeze as you can. There are five levels of difficulty: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme.
You can also go on a tournament. It is a bunch of bike tracks in one track. That is about all there is to show about Trials Evolution.
Tower Madness is a game about defending your sheep. You need to protect your sheep from aliens. There are some weapons that you can use. You can choose a different map. You can buy new things to add to the game. All of them cost $0.99. I bought all of them. Here are the things that you can buy: A new pack of maps called Coast, a new weapon called Flamethrower, another new weapon, a mine that you can use to blow up aliens. You can use another weapon called Flashbait. It is fake sheep where aliens go to. If they go there, they explode.
You also have a certain amount of money that you use to get weapons.
That's about all there is about Tower Madness.

My Favorite Restaurants
My favorite restaurants are BJ's, Popeyes, Burger King, Fresh Choice, Hometown Buffet, Bobby G's, Dunkin' Donuts, Fuddruckers, Olive Garden, and Jack in the Box.
Popeye's is so so so so so so good. Their chicken nuggets are really tasty. They also have delicious shrimp. Their crust on the food is so good because it is really crispy.
Burger King
Popeye's is so so so so so so good. Their chicken nuggets are really tasty. They also have delicious shrimp. Their crust on the food is so good because it is really crispy.
Burger King
Burger King is a good fast food restaurant because it has a food called Chicken Fries. Chicken Fries are chicken that looks like fries. I like their Original Chicken Sandwich.
Bobby G's is a good place in Berkeley, California on University Avenue. It is a pizza place. Their pizza is delicious.
Hometown Buffet is in Pinole, California. It has delicious chicken nuggets. They have good Icees.
Fresh Choice is a delicious buffet. Fresh Choice is better than Hometown Buffet because their mac & cheese is so good. At Fresh Choice you can make a Root Beer Float with chocolate ice cream.
Dunkin Donuts has a delicious breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese.
BJ's is a delicious place with Happy Face Potatoes. It also has a quarter-rack of ribs. It is good but doesn't make me full. They have good mac & cheese.
Fuddrucker's has a good Original Chicken Sandwich. It is so good. You can get as much cheese as you want. There are two types of cheese: Jalapeno cheese and cheddar cheese. I like the cheddar cheese better. They even have a soda machine. You can get any soda flavor you want.
Olive Garden has good pasta. They have big pieces of ravioli. They have good spaghetti. They have wheel chairs for the chairs.
Jack in the Box is a fast food restaurant. I like their chicken nuggets because they are delicious.
Frontier House
Frontier House is a show about American History. There are three families. The families are really from modern America but they go back in time to 1883.
They don't get to have TVs or computers. There is no makeup allowed but one girl snook in makeup. The girls don't like to milk cows because they have to walk an hour to the cows, and it takes an hour to milk. Then they have to walk a mile back.
It is hard to live on the frontier as a kid because on the show a kid was so hungry and they didn't have enough food. The kid's parents walked all the way to the nearest store. It was ten miles away.
When I saw bread out on the fire it made me hungry. That is what looked good about living on the frontier.

Tower Power
Zander made two towers. One is a lighthouse and the other is a regular tower.
The one with more colors is the lighthouse and the other is the regular tower. The regular tower is made with Jenga blocks.

Zander's Trip to Massachusetts, 2014
Zander went to Massachusetts on Jet Blue and Cape Air. He arrived at P'town airport. Zander liked The Quarters. It is an arcade/restaurant near Springfield, MA.
Zander took selfies in Wellfleet while waiting for pizza.
Zander and brother are dressing up with all of their clothes because it was buggy in the front yard.
Zander and brother are playing in the pond with a ball that Zander won from the arcade.
Zander is at the Basketball Hall of Fame.
